Exclusive Networks signs with Alkira

Alkira appointed Exclusive Networks to showcase its Cloud Networking as a Service (CNaaS) platform. This makes Alkira’s Cloud Services Exchange (CSX) available through Exclusive’s partners in 40 countries on five continents.

The artificially intelligent CSX system is so intelligent that it allows service providers to solve major network problems with “a few mouse clicks,” the distributor said.

Access to CSX empowers system integrators and service providers to solve serious network problems caused by aggressive cloud growth.

Lack of networking expertise and control is costing the industry billions of pounds, wasted resources and security compromises are just two of many issues, according to Alkira founder and CEO Amir Khan. As a result, networks cost too much, are easily hacked and are difficult to defend.

The problem is, there are too many variables and not enough time to configure. IDC’s analysis puts the value of solving these problems at $ 1.3 billion by 2025.

According to Khan, CNaaS is networking’s answer to web services. After selling pioneer SDN Viptela to Cisco, Khan spent two years designing a system to solve the next big problem: controlling networks as the cloud began to eclipse everything else. This work resulted in CSX, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to keep control of millions of network management variables – ranging from capacity provision to firewall settings – and hand control back to network managers. .

“We are making networking easier in the cloud age,” said Khan, adding that his new channel partner, Exclusive Networks, has the same vision and has been appointed to upgrade their service provider partners to CNaaS.

Exclusive’s Global Service Integrator (GSI) partners are the first step, said Denis Ferrand-Ajchenbaum, Exclusivities Vice President of Global Vendor Alliances and Business Development, as companies are doing the most to accelerate public cloud adoption.

“These guys are speaking at the C level of the Global 2000,” he said. “We are taking a step-by-step approach in Europe, starting with the leading countries of the UK, France and Germany, but keeping an eye on the Benelux, the Nordic countries and Spain. “

Exclusive sold € 2.9 billion of cybersecurity, network and cloud infrastructure in 2020 for vendors such as Fortinet, Nutanix, Palo Alto Networks, Rubrik and Sentinel One.

Now service providers can reduce the complexity and costs of building and operating networks for their customers, said Ferrand-Ajchenbaum. “Many companies have not been prepared for the challenges of working in public cloud environments and the technical issues of interconnecting different clouds,” he said.

Andy Travers, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Exclusive Networks, said: “With just a few mouse clicks, Alkira’s CNaaS enables secure hybrid and multicloud cloud networks to be set up in hours rather than in months, and puts customers, not the big cloud providers, in the driver’s seat.

Exclusive aims to make this technology more accessible. “The dominant position of public cloud providers has worked against some of our smaller partners,” said Ferrand-Ajchenbaum. “For example, it is not possible to make more than about 7% margin on AWS Marketplace, which is very poor for this industry.

Global service partners are the top priority, according to Ferrand-Ajchenbaum, but Exclusive plans to roll out Alkira service to other resellers in the new year.
