Russia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) participated in anti-terrorism military exercises near Orenburg, near the border with Kazakhstan. More than 5,000 military personnel and approximately 600 pieces of military machinery participated in the exercises, which took place from September 20 to 24.
